Hiiii here's a bold smokey eye look that's been requested for me to do a post about! I couldn't not do a Smokey Eye look without using my fave Urban Decay SMOKY eyeshadow pallet and a bold winged eyeliner, hope you like this look and can re-create it....
Before adding my base I used Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion just so it stays longer and also L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Base Primer.
I then used Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in the shade 'True Ivory' with a Real Techniques 'Essential Foundation Brush' and then working it into the skin with another Real Techniques 'Buffing Brush'
I then went onto eyes, the main part of this look and my favourite part when doing my makeup... I started off by using Rimmel Exaggerate 'Undercover Shadow Primer' this helps the shadows stay put all day and makes sure they wont move or blend into each other...
Onto the Urban Decay SMOKY eyeshadow pallet I used the shadow 'Whiskey' all over the mobile lid then added the shadow 'Slanted' on the outer part of my eye adding then blending adding then blending after that i then added 'Password' in the crease ... my best tip for when using alot of eyeshadows is to blend blend blend you dont want to be left with a big black V shape splodge, you want to be left with no harsh lines showing where you started/stopped using a shadow you really want to be left with a nice soft blended look ...
I then wiped off any excess product that had fallen below the eyes and then tidied it up with a tiny bit of foundation and concealer and set it with Max Factor Creme Puff Powder Compact...
No smokey eye look could be left without a bold winged eyeliner i think it really just finishes the look , I obvs used my fave Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Liner ! I also added Barry M Supersoft Eye Crayon No1 in the bottom water line
I added mascara to this look because I used it as a day look but you could add lashes to this look and make it look super smokey and exaggeratted, the best ones to use in my opinion for this look would be from Eyelure number 107's or even add few single lashes on the outer lashes
I didn't go all out for contour and highlight but i did use Too Faced Soul Mates Blush Bronzer Duo with a Real Techniques Retractable Bronzing Brush and added a light highlight from the Collection Highlight and Sculpting Kit...
